Llandion. A peaceful, pretty village.
Well … sort of. With interesting characters: Winifred Devereaux, the village schooolmistress. A proper lady? Gwynfardd Griffith, a famous poet. In Welsh, naturally. Wyn Thomas, retired businessman. He fancies he can throw a line. Not in Welsh though. Penelope Bruce-Evans. She’s English. All the others. The comings and goings. And a few undercurrents. A real life Llaregyb in the heart of Wales … in prose of course. Not forgetting Wyn Thomas’s donkey.
